PROMGOERS in Winsford have a chance to pick up a high-end dress at a knock-down price.

St Luke’s Hospice Furniture and Fashion shop, in Delamere Street, has announced it’s holding an exclusive shopping event to help students get ready for their school leaving parties without breaking the bank.

Between 4pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 9, teens can pick from a huge selection of new and pre-loved prom dresses without causing their parents a financial headache.

Shoppers will be able to browse a variety of dresses from high-end and high street brands such as Boohoo, H&M, ASOS, and more, with prices starting as low as £15.

Francesca Hawkin, assistant manager at St Luke’s Furniture and Fashion, said: “Prom can be a very expensive time, and so we hope our event will allow girls to feel just as glamorous at their special occasion at a fraction of the price.

"This will be our fifth event, and over the years, they have proved very popular with lots of girls finding the perfect dress for their big occasion.

“We'll have styles, colours, and sizes to suit everyone, along with glitzy accessories and gorgeous shoes, all at reasonable prices.

“We have changing rooms for girls to try dresses on, and we’ll even have free non-alcoholic fizz parents while they wait.”

There’s no need to make an appointment; just turn up on the night and check out what’s on offer.

St Luke’s is also reaching out to anyone who may have formal dresses and accessories they could donate to the evening. Items can be dropped off at any of the St Luke’s shops before the event.

Francesca added: “Our fashion shop also stocks a wide range of high street brands such as River Island, ASOS, and brand-new goods from Boohoo, so it’s a great opportunity to bag yourself a bargain too.”
